Someone is Watching You! Be Careful What you Post

I hope you are not one who enjoys attacking others by pointing out their weaknesses or delights in debating the beliefs of others, or just exhibiting a general overall negative attitude. This can be deadly if you are attempting to become a successful internet marketer.

Whether or not you know it, every item you post on the Internet contributes to defining who you seem to be. In fact just about everything you do from posting blogs to commenting on Facebook or tweeting can contribute to how others see you.

If you are someone who tends to encourage others and are generally positive it will impact your image and reputation as a business owner and service provider. This is compounded if you offer insight and advice to others seeking solutions in fields where you have some experience?

Facebook conducted an experiment to test the effect of suppressing or emphasizing positive or negative comments in users’ feeds to test “emotional contagion” It was found that when they reduced the number of positive comments “people produced fewer positive posts and more negative posts; when negative expressions were reduced, the opposite pattern occurred.” (source

It would be good for each of has to pause occasionally to examine the attitude we are expressing in our online activities. Make sure that we are expressing the right attitude to achieve success in our internet marketing business.

We are all capable of having “bad days” occasionally so we should be especially careful on those days of what we post and of the comments we make. Remember, someone is watching.

Not Only are Twitter and Instagram free to use, but they are also two of the most popular social media networking sites on the Internet.

You can follow other users who post information pertinent to your market. More important, you can post messages and photos frequently to help build your networks to be more effective.

If you have been on Twitter for any length of time I’m sure you have noticed that in many cases Twitter users quite often are following more than they have followers. This can become a problem in building your following (your business) because your content will not appear in the stream of those who are not “following you back”.

You can get help with this problem and make your networks more effective with a service named Unfollowers  It allows you to find out a lot of beneficial information about those in your network.

Have you been posting articles on your blog for quite some time with little or no traffic to show for it? Blogging and content marketing are supposed to produce grand results and yet you have not experienced those benefits.

An article by David Fallarme that will show you how to give your blog traffic a boost! Here are a few quotes from his article :

“As a marketer, you’ve likely heard about how great blogging and content marketing is for driving leads and results. So you dive right in: you work hard, brainstorming and writing article after article, hoping that it has some effect, that it’ll move some needle somewhere.

Content marketing can be hard. It takes time and you might make a lot of mistakes along the way.

The good news: You get to learn from those mistakes and improve your content and your strategies.

One of the key lessons I learned early on was the benefit of using frameworks to guide your content marketing strategy. I’d love to share my experience and strategies with you to give you a leg up in the content marketing game.”

There are four frameworks that David explains in detail that will help give your blog traffic a boost. They are:

“1. The Spaghetti Blogging Framework”

“2. The Skyscraper Technique”

“3. The Hedgehog Concept”

“4. Tofu-Mofu-Bofu”
If  you have been finding it difficult getting leads  and  results I urge you to read David’s  Article HERE  and  give your blog traffic a boost.

Merry Christmas And Happy New Year!

I would like to wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas. Please take some time to reflect on the meaning of Christmas.

What about Christmas is important to you, not to others? Is it choosing that perfect present for someone special? Is it sharing time with family and loved ones?

Whatever it means to you, slow down for a while. Your business and the everyday events of your daily life are important, but take some time out and enjoy time with family and friends. Enjoy a quiet moment over a cup of coffee or tea or call a friend you haven’t seen for some time. You might even consider sharing your holiday meal with someone who has no one to share with.

However you choose to spend the Holidays, may your dinners be tasty and your family gatherings not drive you crazy. And wherever you are have a great time, and remember to give more than you receive.

Faith makes all things possible,

Hope makes all things work,

Love makes all things beautiful,
May you have all the three for this Christmas.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Another Look at Content Marketing

I posted a definition of content marketing on the 3rd of October and the other dayI found another interesting definition from the Content Marketing Institute.

I believe that content marketing is the very center of marketing today and should be fully understood if we are to become successful internet marketers.

Content Marketing Institute says:

“Consumers have shut off the traditional world of marketing. They own a DVR to skip television advertising, often ignore magazine advertising, and now have become so adept at online “surfing” that they can take in online information without a care for banners or buttons (making them irrelevant).

Smart marketers understand that traditional marketing is becoming less and less effective by the minute, and that there has to be a better way.”

CMI also provides an exact definition of content marketing. They also state and provide reasons why “Content is the present – and future – of marketing” and that “Marketing is impossible without great content.”

“Thought leaders and marketing experts from around the world, including the likes of Seth Godin and hundreds of the leading thinkers in marketing have concluded that content marketing isn’t just the future, it’s the present.”

If you are serious about becoming a successful internet marketer I urge you to read the complete article “What is Content Marketing” and comparing it with my earlier post “Content Marketing Defined.”

Having customers is a basic requirement to become a successful internet marketer. Getting better customers will make you more successful.

I recently read this article by one of my favorites, Charlie Page, where he explains why “better customers” should be your goal.

Here are some of Charlie’s comments on this subject:

“When it comes to making money online most of us have the same goal, to create new customers as quickly and easily as possible.

And it wouldn’t hurt if we could do that without spending a boatload of money!

Today we look at one of the easiest and most reliable ways to create new customers with almost no cost.

I’m talking about content marketing.

There are five reasons I believe that content marketing is the best way to create new customer. I will share them below.

But, before we do that, there is something else you need to know.

Content marketing ALSO creates better customers!

Why would the customers who come from content marketing sources be “better” than customers who come from cold sources?”

Read Charlie’s entire article here “Why Content Marketing Creates Better Customers” to find out how you can become a more successful internet marketer and as Charlie says: “If you take away only one thing from this article, let it be this.

The people who want to buy from you will buy from you without you twisting their arm.”
